ACCELERATING CANADA'S TRANSITION TO NET ZERO

The Transition Accelerator is a pan-Canadian organization that works to identify and advance viable pathways to Canada's 2050 climate targets.

In our rapidly changing world, economic, social and technological changes are affecting sectors and regions across Canada. The Transition Accelerator collaborates with groups across the country to direct these disruptions towards solving business and social challenges in ways that move us closer to a net-zero future. Using our unique methodology, we work with innovative groups to create visions of an economically and socially desirable net zero future, create credible, capable and compelling pathways to this future, and then take the concrete steps that will enable Canada to get there.

Our current priorities are Canada’s hydrogen economy, electric vehicle market penetration, building decarbonization and electrification, grid integration and industrial policy.
