The Transition Accelerator is a pan-Canadian organization working with industry, government, Indigenous communities and other stakeholders to ensure a prosperous economy in Canada’s net-zero future. Our methodology is based on identifying the most promising pathways to eliminating emissions—the ones that are compelling, capable, and credible—and using the latest research and close collaboration with key stakeholders to find the most effective ways to drive real change.
Our aim is to deliver major, scalable system transitions that harness social and economic disruptions to build viable pathways to net-zero. We are currently concentrating on four key focus areas with the potential to transform Canada’s energy landscape and keep us competitive in the emerging global economy.
