This study aims to improve personal mobility at the Îles-de-la-Madeleine in a context of addressing climate change. The Îles-de-la-Madeleine are eight islands in the Saint Lawrence gulf of which six are connected by overland routes. All are part of the province of Quebec. These islands can be reached by ferry from Souris’s port, on Prince Edward Island. There are also flights from Montreal, Quebec and Gaspé, and the islands are a stop for various cruises. This project, led in collaboration with the Îles-de-la-Madeleine municipality and Transition Énergétique Québec, aims to identify positive future pathways for individual mobility that solve the specific challenges of this region as reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
