Roger Dickhout is an experienced business leader and investor with a strong track record of delivering financial returns combined with positive social and environmental impact. As the Principal of Pineridge Group, Roger manages a portfolio of public and private investments with an emphasis on impact investing and building sustainable businesses.
As President & CEO, together with SPC and Roynat, Roger founded Pineridge Group. Pineridge acquired, developed and exited three successful platforms – Liberté (Yogurt), Pineridge Bakery (specialty bakery) and Lavo (biodegradable cleaning products). Roger also served as a director and operating partner at Recochem. In 2018 Pineridge transitioned to become the investment and operating vehicle for the Dickhout family.
As President & CEO, Roger led a turnaround of Canada Bread Company. Prior to that Roger was a partner with McKinsey, a global strategic management consulting firm. There he helped clients in a broad range of industrial and consumer sectors in Canada and around the world embark on new directions, lead organizational change, and improve operations.
Roger is a Professional Engineer with a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Queen’s University. He served as a solar engineer at Watershed Energy Systems. He has an M.B.A. from Western University – Ivey (gold medalist). He served on the board of directors of Gennum; as Chair of the Board of World Wildlife Fund; and on the board of advisors of InvestEco.
