Grace Newcombe is a senior policy researcher and analyst with extensive experience in developing practical, place-based approaches to decarbonization that align policy, technology, and regional priorities.
With over five years of research leadership experience, she’s worked across government and policy think tanks in both the UK and Canada. In this time, she has advised the Canadian government on the deployment and risks of carbon dioxide removal technologies, mapped workforce impacts and emerging skills needs in Ontario’s automotive sector as it transitions to zero-emission vehicles, and co-designed clean growth strategies with UK municipalities.
Grace holds a Master’s in Environmental Policy from Sciences Po Paris and a Bachelor’s in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation from the University of Portsmouth.
