Leslie Malone

With 20 years of experience in the clean energy and climate policy space, Leslie has a broad knowledge of legislative and regulatory environments in Canada and the United States. She has led nation-wide macroeconomic modelling assessments, was at the forefront of evaluating the value of solar/distributed energy resource to the grid and society, and has a deep understanding of demand-side management and electrification policy and programs.

Prior to joining the Transition Accelerator, Leslie was a Managing Consultant with Dunsky Energy + Climate Advisors and worked at the firm for over eight years. She also spent a decade with the Northeast U.S.-based think tank, Acadia Center. Leslie holds a M.Sc. in Environmental Economics from Imperial College/University of London and a B.Sc. from Mount Allison University. She is based in Ottawa, but Prince Edward Island will always be home.
