Philip Horacek

Director of Net-Zero Fuel

Philip Horacek serves as the Director of Net Zero Fuels at The Transition Accelerator and brings over 20 years of experience in the hydrogen and alternative fuels industry. He has held numerous senior technical and corporate leadership roles, leading the safety and performance testing of hydrogen components and fuel systems, design and building of hydrogen fueling infrastructure, and deployment of electric vehicle fast-charging infrastructure teams as well as business development and business operations teams, where he was known for his customer-centric, solutions-based approach. His work has fostered strong relationships with vehicle OEMs, major industry entities, and government stakeholders.

Philip graduated with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Victoria and is registered as a Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia. He is a former technical expert for various Canadian, American, and international standards development committees and formerly served for three years on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association.
