Marie-Eve Levert

Senior Advisor (On maternity leave)


Marie-Eve is an experienced advisor with a demonstrated history in trade, international relations, and strategic planning for the agri-food sector for over ten years. In her work with industry, she has led a dozen international trade missions to the United States, Europe, and Japan.

Developing and managing strategic relationships have always been a significant part of her work; from her experience with the Public Affairs team at the Canadian Consulate in San Francisco to her appointment in 2018 as the industry chair of Organic Value Chain Roundtable (OVCRT), a group jointly led by the federal government and the industry to enhance Canadian organic sector competitiveness and profitability.

She has extensive fundraising and grant application experience, securing multi-year federal grants as well as numerous private foundation grants for Canadian NGOs. Marie-Eve has a degree in International Relations and International Laws and a Masters in Public Administration.
