Chris Bayley is a chemical engineer and project manager with over 20 years experience in the upstream and midstream pipeline industries. He has considerable experience in a leadership role within complex project settings and has developed an aptitude for defining success criteria and establishing processes for measuring progress. He is a firm believer in a collaborative work environment and constantly strives to align the interests of project stakeholders.
In his previous role he was co-founder of a niche EPC company focused on pipeline change of service projects including abandonment, deactivation, reactivation, replacement, and repurposing of pipeline assets. In this role he saw the value of connecting hydrogen producers to early adopter hydrogen users utilizing existing infrastructure to help accelerate hydrogen uptake in our energy systems. Prior to that he spent 9 years managing the design and execution of pipeline mega projects, where his outside the box thinking solved numerous technical challenges. He also has extensive upstream experience, from both the EPCM and the owner’s perspective. He is a champion of the Integrated Project Delivery model and seeks to create common goals to establish a team environment where everybody wins.
