Joshua Ulliac

Senior Analyst, Electrification

Joshua joins the Transition Accelerator to work with the electrification team to evaluate the interconnected elements of net-zero energy systems and net-zero fuels. Prior to joining the Transition Accelerator, Joshua worked as an electrical engineer and specialized in control system design, low-voltage power distribution and protection, and system commissioning. Additionally, Joshua worked with ICF on designing and implementing energy efficiency programs across North America and worked with their advisory group to study the impacts of beneficial electrification, focusing on electric vehicle adoption scenarios and grid impacts for Canada and the United States.

Joshua holds an MBA with a Finance Specialization from the University of Calgary, a Master of Engineering in Electrical Energy Systems and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta. Joshua is a Board Member of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) Alberta Chapter and the Alberta Energy Efficiency Alliance (AEEA).
